Each correct answer will earn your team one point, totaling a possible 50 points if you play an unbeatable game.
But the excitement doesn't stop there. It's not just about winning. NYC Trivia League adds an additional layer of excitement with its bonus point system. Every day, the top teams earn more points, with the top 10 teams earning five bonus points, and the following 15 teams receiving 3. Over the course of the week top teams receive bonus points, with the top 25 receiving 10 points and the following 25 receiving 5.
To calculate your total score for the league, we calculate the base score and change it to a 100-point score, taking into account the bonus points of 15 available each week. So, for example, a base score of 50 points is multiplied with 85, and then bonus points are tacked on to get to a full 100.
