Each correct answer awards your team a point, and you can earn up to 50 points if you play a flawless game.
The fun doesn't stop there. This year's NYC Trivia League adds an extra level of competition through its bonus points system. Every day the top 25 teams score extra points, with the top 10 teams receiving 5 bonus points, and the following 15 getting 3. Over the course of the week the best 50 teams also earn bonus points Top 25 teams receiving 10 and the second 25 getting 5.
In order to calculate your overall score in the league, we first take your base score and adjust it to a 100-point score, considering the 15 bonus points to be earned each week. For example, a perfect initial score of 50% is multiplied by 85, and the bonus points are tacked on to achieve a 100.
