Every correct answer earns your team a point, resulting in 50 points if you play flawless performance.
However, the fun doesn't stop there. This year's NYC Trivia League adds an additional layer of excitement with its bonus points system. Every day the top 25 teams score extra points, with the top 10 teams receiving 5 bonus points and the subsequent 15 teams receiving 3. Over the week, the top teams receive bonus points, with the top 25 getting 10 and the next 25 receiving five.
In order to calculate your overall league score, we start with your score as a base and then adjust it to a 100-point range, considering the 15 bonus points that are available every week. For example, a perfect basis score 50 points is multiplied 85 times, and then bonus points are added to make it a total of 100.
