Every correct answer earns your team a points, which can add up to a maximum of 50 points for a flawless game.
However, the fun doesn't stop there. This year's NYC Trivia League adds an additional layer of excitement with its bonus point system. Every day the top 25 teams get extra points. The most successful teams getting five bonus points, while the other 15 receiving 3. The following week, the best 50 teams also earn bonus points which are awarded to the top 25 teams, with the best 25 earning 10 and the next 25 getting 5.
To calculate your total league score, we use your initial score and adjust it according to a scale of 100 points, including the bonus 15 points which are awarded each week. A perfect baseline score of 50 is multiplied 85 times, and then the bonus points are added in order to achieve a 100.
