The fun doesn't stop there. This year's NYC Trivia League adds an added layer of fun with the bonus points system. Every day the top 25 teams earn additional points. The most successful teams getting five bonus points and the next 15 receiving 3. The following week, the most successful teams also earn bonus points and the top 25 earning 10 and the next 25 getting 5.
In order to calculate your overall score for the league, we calculate your initial score and adjust it to a 100-point scale, including the bonus 15 points which are awarded each week. For example, a perfect basic score, 50 points is multiplied by 85, and then bonus points are tacked on to be a complete 100.
