But the fun doesn't end there. It's not just about winning. NYC Trivia League adds an additional layer of excitement with the bonus points system. Each day, the top teams earn extra points, with the top 10 teams earning 5 bonus points while the next 15 receiving three. Over the course of the week top teams receive bonus points, with the top 25 getting 10 and the next 25 receiving 5.
In order to calculate your overall score in the league, we first take your score from the beginning and then adjust it to a 100-point range, considering the bonus points of 15 available each week. For example, a flawless basis score 50 points is multiplied by 85, then bonus points are added in order to get to a full 100.
