The point system for trivia in The Winslow is designed to ensure that each question and round count. This is how it works for the normal trivia night, There are 5 rounds with ten questions each. Each correct answer gives your team one point, resulting in 50 points for an unbeatable game.
The fun doesn't stop there. This year's NYC Trivia League adds an added layer of fun with the bonus points system. Each day, the top 25 teams are awarded extra points. The highest 10 teams earning bonus points and the following 15 receiving three. Throughout the week, the best 50 teams also earn bonus points which are awarded to the top 25 teams, with the best 25 getting 10 and the next 25 getting 5.
In order to calculate your overall score in the league, we first take your base score and adjust it to a 100-point score, considering the bonus points of 15 that are available every week. For instance, a perfect baseline score of 50 points is multiplied by the number 85, and then bonus points are added in order to be a complete 100.
