Every correct answer earns your team one point, which is a total of 50 points for the perfect game.
But the excitement doesn't end there. This year's NYC Trivia League adds an additional layer of excitement with its bonus point system. Every day the top 25 teams score additional points. The top 10 teams earning five bonus points and the following 15 getting 3. Over the course of the week the most successful teams also earn bonus points Top 25 teams getting 10 and the bottom 25 getting 5.
To calculate your total league score, we use your initial score and adjust it by 100 points, considering the 15 bonus points that are available every week. For instance, a perfect base score of 50 points is multiplied by 85, then bonus points are tacked on to get to a full 100.
