The fun doesn't stop there. There's more. NYC Trivia League adds an additional element of competition by way of the bonus points system. Every day the top teams earn additional points, with the most successful teams getting five bonus points while the next 15 getting 3. Throughout the week, the top teams receive bonus points Top 25 teams getting 10 and the next 25 receiving 5.
In order to calculate your overall league score, we take your score from the beginning and then adjust it to a 100-point scale, considering the 15 bonus points offered each week. A perfect basis score 50 points is multiplied by 85 and then bonus points are added in order to be a complete 100.
