Next, communication is crucial. Have a discussion about each question with your entire team and keep your voices in a quiet place to prevent other teams from catching you off-guard. Keep in mind that the honor system is in place. There are no phones, or any other assistance is permitted.
Find out the best strategy for each round. The system of points favors consistency, so aim for consistent scoring instead of taking a gamble on a handful of questions. Sometimes, a shrewd guess could be worth that extra point.
Finally, keep an eye on your game. If a team from another is winning, you should adjust your game plan in the last rounds. Keep in mind that there is always a possibility of a comeback especially with bonus questions that could change the game.

The trivia points system in The Winslow is designed to make each question and round important. This is how it works When you play the normal trivia night, there are five rounds with 10 questions each. Every correct answer earns your team a point, resulting in 50 points for an exemplary game.
But the excitement doesn't end there. This year's NYC Trivia League adds an additional layer of excitement with its bonus point system. Each day the top 25 teams earn additional points, with teams in the highest 10 teams earning bonus points while the next 15 gaining 3. Over the course of the week top 50 teams also get bonus points with the top 25 receiving 10 and the second 25 getting 5.
To calculate your league score, we use your score from the beginning and then adjust it to a 100-point scale including the bonus 15 points available each week. For example, a perfect basis score 50 points is multiplied with 85, and then the bonus points are added up to be a complete 100.
