The fun doesn't stop there. There's more. NYC Trivia League adds an extra level of competition through its bonus points system. Each day, the top 25 teams receive additional points, with teams in the top 10 getting 5 bonus points and the next 15 teams receiving 3. The following week, the top teams receive bonus points and the top 25 getting 10 and the bottom 25 getting 5.
In order to calculate your overall league score, we start with the base score and change it by 100 points, taking into account the bonus points of 15 that are available every week. In this case, a starting score of fifty is multiplied by 85, and the bonus points are added up to be a complete 100.
