Every correct answer earns your team one points, which can add up to a maximum of 50 points for flawless play.
The excitement doesn't just stop there. It's not just about winning. NYC Trivia League adds an extra layer of competition with its bonus point system. Every day the top 25 teams earn additional points, with teams in the most successful teams getting five bonus points, and the following 15 receiving three. Over the course of the week top 50 teams also earn bonus points with the top 25 getting 10 and the bottom 25 getting 5.
In order to calculate your overall score for the league, we calculate your score as a base and then adjust it to a 100-point scale, with 15 bonus points which are awarded each week. For example, a flawless starting score of fifty is multiplied with 85, and then bonus points are added to get to a full 100.
